The Evening Herald (25 March 2014, page 10) and the Independent.ie online news service report that Pádraig’s travel insurance policy was, according to his insurers (!), so “ambiguous” that it was changed for the current year (2014) and now covers cycling without a helmet, requiring a helmet only for “biking holidays”.
They are still not providing cover for Pádraig’s accident.
